My INR usually

the greatest surgein my INR when I took Augmentin.
INR shot up to 4.2 from myusual 2.2 ideal range by the 3rd day. I stopped warfarin medication upon
the advice of my staff nurse for the next 2 days. Meanwhile, I increased my intake of food high
in Vitamin K to help bring down my INRsooner.
By the 3rd day
after I stopped my warfarin, my INR came down to 1.8.
My advice is,
if you are taking antibiotics for a period of time, like 7 -14 days in my case, it may be better for you to
check your INR again 3 days after starting on the antibiotics, to ensure that the
INR stays within your ideal range.
